What's Anj's background before real estate?

I have an undergraduate and Masters degree in Law from the London School of Economics, and I spent years in real estate development before ever getting licensed myself. I moved to Los Angeles from London in 2012, and before I got my license, I was personally buying and rehabbing single family homes in the Valley, hands-on, not as an investor writing checks from a distance. That renovation and flip experience is a big part of how I evaluate a property now, I've actually done the work I'm advising clients on.
